What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, due diligences, and indirect channel partnerships across Europe.
- Advise indirect sales channels, partner networks, and strategic commercial initiatives, with a focus on Italy and Spain.
- Lead contract lifecycle improvements, including workflow optimization, legal templates, and regional best practices.
- Provide senior legal oversight for complex matters, escalations, and high-stakes negotiations in Italy and Spain.
- Implement and optimize AI-powered contract review, CLM, and automated legal workflow tools.
- Create SOPs and training materials that help commercial teams manage legal risks and contract processes.
Requirements
- Law degree from a European country; an Italian legal qualification is advantageous.
- At least 8 years of commercial contract experience in an in-house legal department or multinational environment.
- Fluent Italian and Spanish are mandatory for contract review and negotiations; advanced, fluent English is required for collaboration with the global team.
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional commercial contracts, indirect channels, European contract law, regulatory frameworks, data protection, and cross-border deal structuring.
- Practical experience implementing or heavily using AI contract review, CLM, or legal workflow automation tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and business partnering skills.
