What you will do

  • Lead the preparation, review, and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals.
  • Manage proposal schedules and ensure adherence to critical deadlines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, finance, and operations teams to gather necessary inputs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Navy accounts and the sales representative network.
  • Implement and track sales processes, data analytics, and key performance indicators.
  • Analyze market trends and cost histories to inform pricing strategies and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen due to NOFORN (Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals) requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Management, Regional Sales, or Proposal Management.
  • Experience in the marine, defense, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and long-cycle project management.
