What you will do
- Lead and build a dynamic sales team for the Japan market launch from the ground up.
- Analyze the Japanese market to identify growth opportunities and create a strategic expansion plan.
- Define the operational setup for both inbound and outbound sales approaches.
- Recruit, mentor, and coach the sales team to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to optimize team structures and local business processes.
- Target SMB owners in the bakery, grocery, restaurant, and coffee bar segments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Sales experience in technology products, B2C services, food-related industry, or FMCG.
- 3+ years of People Management experience, ideally building teams from scratch.
- Native level of written and spoken Japanese.
- Conversational fluency in English.
- Mastery of Salesforce and Excel.
- Proven ability to track sales KPIs and steer team performance based on data.

- Experience working in a food marketplace business.
- A proactive, "make-it-happen" mindset and willingness to be hands-on.
