What you will do
- Develop and execute multi-year IT category strategies for SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Hardware.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with global vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, and Salesforce.
- Optimize IT spend through software license utilization, vendor consolidation, and application rationalization.
- Manage the end-to-end RFx process and establish commercial frameworks for technology procurement.
- Chair executive governance with strategic partners and drive joint innovation roadmaps.
- Coordinate cross-functional approvals across Legal, Security, and Finance to ensure audit readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, or project management.
- 8-10+ years of experience in IT category management or strategic sourcing.
- Deep expertise in software licensing, cloud economics (IaaS/PaaS), and consumption-based pricing.
- Proven track record of influencing VP/C-suite decisions through executive storytelling.
- Must be based in Mesa, Arizona to support the hybrid work model.
- Expertise in TCO analysis and complex contracting (MSAs, SOWs).
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) in a related field.
- CPSM/CIPS, PMP/Prosci, or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certifications.
- Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, manufacturing, or industrial technology.
- Experience leading digital S2P transformation across multiple regions.
