What you will do

• Lead, design, and execute technical initiatives to significantly improve web application performance.
• Investigate and resolve high-impact scalability issues within the product and frameworks.
• Develop and optimize the shared tech stack, including frontend infrastructure, data loading, and asynchronous executions.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to enhance visibility into performance and scalability problems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance as a subject matter expert on frontend infrastructure and feature scaling.
• Communicate technical investments and their business impact to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience working with large codebases.
• 3+ years of experience with modern frontend web technologies, focusing on infrastructure (data fetching, routing, build systems).
• Proven experience leading challenging technical projects and driving changes in complex systems.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Passion for web performance optimization and solving scalability challenges.
• Must be based in Vancouver to adhere to the office-centric hybrid schedule.
