TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (React/TypeScript): Building polished, accessible, and performant user-facing interfaces for AI-driven risk and fraud products with an accent on frontend architecture, production-scale delivery, and AI-assisted development. Focus on setting frontend technical direction, mentoring engineers, integrating Go backend services and APIs, and shaping complex product experiences.
Location: Remote in Canada, Eastern Time; must reside in Ontario and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Salary: CA$160K–CA$210K plus equity.

What you will do
- Design, build, and own polished, accessible, performant React and TypeScript user-facing features.
- Set frontend technical direction and quality standards while mentoring engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Use AI and agentic development tools such as Claude to accelerate delivery and establish AI-assisted development practices.
- Contribute to Go backend services and APIs that support frontend experiences.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect and deliver new product experiences.
- Contribute to product and technical roadmaps, user-facing documentation, and engineering culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep frontend specialization.
- Expert-level React and TypeScript skills, with strong attention to UX, performance, accessibility, and production quality at scale.
- Proven fluency with AI and agentic coding tools, including experience using them to improve development throughput.
- Experience setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and driving important technical decisions.
- Working proficiency in Go, or the ability to become productive with it quickly, for backend services.
- Proficient English and legal authorization to work in Canada are required.

- Experience in fintech, fraud, compliance, risk, or other regulated systems.
- Exposure to data tooling or pipelines.
