Salary: CA$185K – CA$210K + Equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and own polished, accessible, and performant user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Define technical direction and quality standards for the frontend through mentorship and code reviews.
• Implement AI-assisted development workflows using tools like Claude to increase shipping velocity.
• Develop and extend backend services and APIs using Go.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect new experiences from inception to delivery.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and shape the overall engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a deep specialization in frontend development.
• Expertise in React and TypeScript with a strong emphasis on UX, performance, and accessibility.
• Must reside in Ontario, Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Proven fluency with AI agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity.
• Experience in leadership, mentoring engineers, and setting technical standards.
• Working proficiency in Go for backend services.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in fintech, fraud, compliance, or risk management.
• Exposure to data tooling or pipelines.
