TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Frontend, Fintech): Designing and delivering user-facing experiences for AI-driven fraud prevention and AML compliance products with an accent on polished, performant React and TypeScript interfaces. Location: Remote — Canada (Must reside in Ontario and be legally authorized to work in Canada)
Salary: CA$185K – CA$210K + Equity

What you will do
- Design, build, and own polished, accessible, and performant user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
- Define technical direction and quality standards for the frontend through mentorship and code reviews.
- Implement AI-assisted development workflows using tools like Claude to increase shipping velocity.
- Develop and extend backend services and APIs using Go.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect new experiences from inception to delivery.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and shape the overall engineering culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a deep specialization in frontend development.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript with a strong emphasis on UX, performance, and accessibility.
- Must reside in Ontario, Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Proven fluency with AI agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity.
- Experience in leadership, mentoring engineers, and setting technical standards.
- Working proficiency in Go for backend services.
Nice to have
- Industry experience in fintech, fraud, compliance, or risk management.
- Exposure to data tooling or pipelines.
