Senior Developer Advocate (Robotics)

Location: Remote within the United States, based in or associated with San Francisco, California; travel to events required

Salary: $220,000–$250,000 per year

hirify.global is a robotics engineering platform that provides software tools for configuring, controlling, and managing robots and automation systems.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global at conferences, meetups, hackathons, workshops, and other developer events.
• Build and troubleshoot creative robotics, software, and hardware projects that demonstrate the platform.
• Create technical content including tutorials, videos, sample code, workshops, demos, and talks.
• Grow engagement in Discord and other developer communities while building credibility with technical audiences.
• Experiment with emerging technologies and identify opportunities for hirify.global to build, teach, or participate.
• Bring developer feedback to Product and Engineering and use engagement data to guide priorities.

Requirements

• Track record of creating high-quality technical content for developers.
• Experience building, shipping, and maintaining production software used by real users.
• Relevant experience with Python, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to scope, build, debug, and iterate independently.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, IoT, embedded systems, electronics, maker projects, or similar physical systems.
• Comfort with public speaking, teaching, video appearances, community engagement, and occasional evening or weekend events.
