TL;DR

Sales Engineer (Security): Leading technical pre-sales activities and product demonstrations to help customers secure their open source supply chain with an accent on technical guidance and Proof of Concept (POC) support. Focus on translating complex customer requirements into product capabilities and bridging the gap between customers and engineering teams.

Location: Remote (US or Global — compensation is adjusted for candidates outside the US)

Salary: $165K – $200K OTE

What you will do

  • Lead product demonstrations to showcase capabilities, address challenges, and handle customer objections.
  • Craft technical content to guide customers in implementing specific use cases.
  • Support and provide technical expertise for Proof of Concepts (POCs) throughout the evaluation process.
  • Collaborate with account teams to translate customer requirements into business value and hirify.global capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on integrating hirify.global solutions into existing customer infrastructure.
  • Communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in pre-sales technical roles (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or TAM).
  • Experience in security, developer tools, or SaaS environments.
  • Hands-on technical background in software engineering, data science, or an equivalent role.
  • Deep familiarity with package managers (npm or PyPI) and programming ecosystems (JavaScript or Python).
  • Understanding of software supply chain security and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to write basic scripts in Python, JS, or Go, and experience with RESTful APIs and Git.
