Sales Engineer, EMEA (Security): Leading technical pre-sales, proofs of concept, and post-sale success for European enterprise customers using Socket's software supply chain security platform with an accent on security integrations, vulnerability management, and customer expansion. Focus on designing technical evaluations, resolving objections, driving feature adoption, and translating product capabilities into business value for security and engineering teams.
Location: Remote in the United Kingdom, Denmark, or Portugal

What you will do
- Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept for enterprise prospects.
- Address technical objections, troubleshoot issues, and translate product capabilities into business value.
- Own the success and growth of assigned European enterprise accounts.
- Create customer success plans, drive feature adoption, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and renewal discussions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success on customer feedback, playbooks, documentation, and integration guides.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales technical roles with enterprise customers.
- 2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or post-sale technical roles.
- Experience in security, developer tools, or SaaS, plus a hands-on background in software engineering, data science, or an equivalent field.
- Deep familiarity with at least one package manager, npm or PyPI, and at least one programming ecosystem, JavaScript or Python.
- Understanding of software supply chain security and vulnerability management.
- Ability to write basic scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Go, and experience with Git-based source control, REST APIs, and integrations.
