TL;DR

Founding Account Executive (AI): Building and owning the enterprise sales motion from the ground up with an accent on complex, AI-driven enterprise deals. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to Proof of Value and closing, while collaborating with founders and R&D to define scalable sales processes.

Location: Must be based in NYC (Hybrid)

Salary: $280,000–$350,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and discovery to final contract closure.
  • Qualify opportunities based on technical fit, customer pain points, and buying readiness.
  • Develop target account lists and account strategies for the US market.
  • Lead Proof of Value (PoV) engagements, defining success criteria and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate with Solution Engineering, R&D, and Product teams to drive deal momentum.
  • Establish foundational sales playbooks and processes for the growing organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically within Finance, Compliance, or Supply Chain.
  • Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals involving AI, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Ability to sell into both technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, early-stage environments and building processes from scratch.
  • Must be based in NYC and able to work in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

  • Background selling AI-driven, automation, or workflow platforms.
  • Experience running or coordinating Proof of Value / pilot programs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, TMS, or CRM.
  • Prior experience as a first sales hire or early GTM leader at a startup.
