TL;DR
Business Solutions Analyst III (Insurance): Defining and documenting business requirements for technology and process changes with an accent on insurance systems and data flows. Focus on translating business needs into functional specifications and managing the product lifecycle through UAT.
Location: Remote within the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US without visa sponsorship.
Salary: $89,865.00 - $119,800.00

What you will do
- Elicit business and data requirements through stakeholder engagement, interviews, and workshops.
- Translate business requirements into functional design specifications, customer journeys, and process flows.
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring validation, prioritization, and traceability.
- Develop and execute UAT plans, including writing test cases and coordinating with IT testing leads.
- Partner with data experts in the Center of Excellence to validate the feasibility of technical proposals.
Requirements
- 4+ years of business systems analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a BSA Certification.
- Knowledge of the insurance business (Personal Lines, Commercial Auto, and Claims).
- Proficiency in diagramming tools such as UML, Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, or Miro.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, structured testing methodologies, and project management practices.
- Indefinite authorization to work in the US is required; no visa sponsorship provided.
Nice to have
- Guidewire Certified Analyst.
- 2–3 years of specific experience within the insurance industry.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformations or vendor system implementations.
