TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Sales): Establishing initial relationships with prospects at large school districts to educate them on student transportation services and schedule meetings for Account Executives with an accent on lead qualification and consultative outreach. Focus on researching prospective leads, managing the sales funnel in Salesforce, and consistently exceeding outreach quotas.

Location: Remote. Must be based in one of the following US states: AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI

Salary: $55,000 base + up to $20k OTE

What you will do

  • Research and evaluate prospective leads in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Perform cold calling and emailing to determine the need for transportation services.
  • Assess client needs using a consultative sales approach during outreach.
  • Manage the sales funnel and outreach strategies using Salesforce CRM.
  • Qualify leads and assign them to Account Executives as Sales Qualified Leads.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly outreach and conversion goals.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and employ creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be based in one of the specified US states.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Experience in sales or the education sector.
