Product Owner (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own and prioritise the product backlog across the product build lifecycle.
• Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with technical leads.
• Coordinate requirements and decisions across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, operations teams, and external partners to deliver web and mobile product increments.
• Use data and user insights to improve customer experience and platform efficiency.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, progress monitoring, and stakeholder reporting.

Requirements

• BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Product Owner experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum, sprint ceremonies, and Jira or an equivalent backlog tool.
• Ability to write precise, development-ready user stories and acceptance criteria and understand technical concepts.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, backend-driven workflows, and web and mobile products, including native iOS/Android applications.
• Fluency in Greek and English, written and verbal, is required.

Nice to have

• CSPO or PSPO I/II certification.
• Experience with lending, payments, BNPL, digital onboarding, customer journey platforms, merchant integrations, or external partners.
