MEMS Process Engineer

What you will do

• Run and optimize wafer fab processes, including thin-film metal deposition, wet etch, and photolithography.
• Perform wafer metrology to analyze technical issues and solve product failures.
• Establish and oversee process controls to ensure products meet commercial quality standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain managers to align grid production capacity with forecast demand.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cleanroom machinery and equipment.
• Ensure strict compliance with EHSQ standards and cleanroom protocols.

Requirements

• Experience working in a cleanroom or highly regulated production environment.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining technical equipment.
• Familiarity with EHSQ requirements and cleanroom protocols.
• Relevant experience in thin-film deposition, semiconductor processes, photolithography, wet etching, or microfabrication.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Cambridge/Melbourn, UK.

Nice to have

• Track record in leading production or operations teams in a scientific/technical manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of production planning and supply chain interfaces.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
