Salary: £47,000–£54,000

What you will do
- Perform routine maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns on wafer-fab systems.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Optimize maintenance procedures using KPIs and manage spare parts inventory.
- Update equipment histories and maintain compliance via the factory MES platform.
- Adhere to strict health and safety directives during all repair activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a 7-7 shift pattern (4 on 4 off, including nights).
- Completed mechanical/electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
- Educated to a minimum of C&G / ONC standard.
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage own workload.
- Desire to progress into a specialist Equipment Engineer role.
Nice to have
- Experience with vacuum, pneumatic, or actuation systems.
- Previous exposure to the semiconductor industry.
