What you will do

• Assist attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery, including interrogatories, subpoenas, and deposition binders.
• Manage comprehensive trial preparation, including witness coordination, trial exhibits, charts, and trial notebooks.
• Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records and billings to calculate damages.
• Draft and proofread legal documents and manage large volumes of litigation records.
• Maintain routine communications with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Northbrook, IL (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office)
• Paralegal certification
• 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in civil litigation or insurance defense
• Solid understanding of state and federal civil litigation deadlines and rules
• High proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
