Salary: $53,000 - $58,000 a year

What you will do

• Manage electronic case filings (ECFs) via Pacer and upload them to automated matters systems.
• Maintain case tracking systems and provide necessary filing links to DOJ Attorneys.
• Compile, prepare, and summarize materials for use in discovery, motions, and legal briefs.
• Conduct legal research and database searches using tools like LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Index and control document discovery, depositions, and trial exhibits.
• Provide direct support to attorneys within the courtroom.

Requirements

• Paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school (minimum 1 year completed).
• At least 1 year of litigation paralegal experience or project experience with ECF workflows.
• Basic legal knowledge, including proficiency in standard legal citation for motions and memorandum.
• Experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Washington, DC or Arlington, VA.
