What you will do

• Lead and coordinate substation projects up to 765kV in detailed design and EPC.
• Develop protection and control deliverables, including protective relays, AC/DC schematics, and wiring.
• Create physical design deliverables such as yard layout plans, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Perform quality reviews of electrical substation design packages to ensure compliance.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement.
• Mentor junior team members and manage design budgets and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure (EOR).
• Experience in high voltage (HV) substation design (Physical and/or Protection & Controls).
• Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records search.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience as a project lead overseeing utility substation clients.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office programs.
