Deal Lead (AI)

TL;DR

Deal Lead (AI/Pricing): Shaping the pricing and deal desk function from the ground up to scale enterprise go-to-market motions with an accent on deal structuring, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations. Focus on building internal deal processes, optimizing pricing packaging, and partnering cross-functionally with Finance and Legal.

Location: Must be based in San Francisco (in-office)

Salary: $160K – $200K + Equity

What you will do

• Own deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering with account executives to drive deals to close
• Develop and refine the company's pricing and packaging strategy
• Build and scale internal deal desk processes as the organization expands
• Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to shape company strategy
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Legal to align on deal economics and contract terms

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of experience in pricing, deal desk, or monetization functions at high-growth companies
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and shape solutions during implementation
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with finance, sales, and legal teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling a deal desk or pricing function at an early-stage company
• Previous experience leading the implementation of a CPQ platform
• Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models alongside traditional SaaS structures
• SQL or other data analytics experience
