Senior IT Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Senior IT Engineer (AI): Designing and building identity, endpoint, networking, and office IT systems for a fast-growing AI music platform with an accent on scaling infrastructure and 0-to-1 systems development. Focus on automating joiner/mover/leaver workflows, managing MDM fleets, and integrating agentic AI to remove operational toil.

Location: On-site 5 days a week in NYC or Boston. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $150K – $175K + Equity

What you will do

• Build and configure identity and access management (IAM) and automate user lifecycle workflows.
• Manage and expand MDM systems for endpoint fleet onboarding, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Administer and harden Google Workspace, Slack, and a portfolio of SaaS tools.
• Ensure reliability and security of wired/wireless networks, zero-trust VPNs, and A/V systems across US offices.
• Scale IT support by creating runbooks and knowledge articles to enable AI-powered self-service.
• Implement deterministic automation and agentic AI to remove operational toil from internal workflows.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of progressive IT engineering experience, preferably at a high-growth company.
• Broad expertise in identity, endpoint, SaaS administration, and networking.
• Ability to operate independently and make sound architectural decisions.
• Eligibility to work in the US is required.
• Strong written communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% between office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern IdPs (Okta, Google IAM) and SCIM provisioning.
• Knowledge of IGA tooling such as Lumos, SailPoint, or Saviynt.
• Experience with MDMs like Jamf, Jumpcloud, or Intune.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, TypeScript, or Bash) and config-as-code approaches.
• Experience as an early IT engineering hire in a scaling organization.
