What you will do

• Manage purchase orders from placement through delivery, ensuring timely receipt of materials and compliance with company standards.
• Execute strategic sourcing and negotiate spot buys based on business needs, cost, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with preferred suppliers and coordinate delivery re-routing based on field requests.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, tracking stock and demand fluctuations in collaboration with operations.
• Resolve procurement process issues and escalate risks to the Purchasing Manager with proposed mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate records throughout the procure-to-pay (P2P) process to ensure transparency for audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field.
• 1-3 years of purchasing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in the lumber or millwork industry is strongly preferred.
• Practicing proficiency in SAP.
• Must be based in the USA to be eligible for benefits and employment.
