What you will do

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing supply houses and vet new vendors to secure competitive pricing.
• Review project requirements and place accurate orders for various construction materials including lumber, hardware, and plumbing components.
• Monitor delivery schedules, communicate with freight carriers, and provide real-time status updates to project managers.
• Maintain a Master Procurement Log in Google Sheets to track purchase orders, backorders, and project costs.
• Utilize Google Calendar to coordinate site access and delivery windows with site superintendents.
• Manage high-volume email correspondence as the primary bridge between vendors, site teams, and accounting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement specifically within the construction sector.
• Deep knowledge of construction materials and vendor networks.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, specifically Google Sheets for data tracking, Gmail for high-volume communication, and Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Strong ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and expedited delivery schedules.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple overlapping orders.
