What you will do

• Manage end-to-end project purchasing to support business operations and delivery.
• Lead sourcing, supplier selection, quotation analysis, and negotiations across multiple categories.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and within budget.
• Handle import activities, customs documentation, and international supplier communications.
• Drive supplier performance and cost optimization through strong relationship management.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Buyer, in procurement, or a purchasing role.
• Background in managing high volumes, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
• Knowledge of import processes, international shipping, and customs documentation.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Must be based in Portugal.
