TL;DR

Alternative Plan Design (APD) Director (Healthcare): Translating healthcare affordability and plan design challenges into implementable Alternative Plan Designs with an accent on solution consulting and market strategy. Focus on developing persuasive narratives, creating financial ROI models, and aligning product capabilities with client goals.

Location: Remote (US). Must be based in US labor markets Zones A-C; Zone D (SF Bay Area, NYC, San Jose) is excluded.

Salary: $205,000 – $245,000 per year

What you will do

  • Serve as a strategic partner to sales and client teams on key pursuits, renewals, and expansions.
  • Develop APD proposals and benefit design changes aligned with client goals and population data.
  • Create executive-ready narratives and pitch decks for C-Suite stakeholders and benefits leaders.
  • Partner with Analytics and Finance to build financial models and ROI business cases.
  • Provide market feedback to Product teams to identify gaps and future opportunities.
  • Design and refine APD-specific frameworks and value driver tools.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or strategy within healthcare.
  • Deep experience with Alternative Plan Design (APD) products.
  • Proven track record of presenting complex solutions to C-Suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting claims, utilization, and ROI data.
  • Must be located in the United States (excluding Zone D markets).
