TL;DR

Recruiting Operations Manager (Defense): Managing the hiring infrastructure and coordination team to scale talent acquisition for modern defense systems with an accent on process optimization and ATS administration. Focus on designing interview frameworks, optimizing recruiter workflows, and ensuring a seamless candidate journey.

Location: Must work 4-5 days onsite in Hawthorne, California

Salary: $140,000 - 165,000

What you will do

  • Manage and develop a team of Recruiting Coordinators to ensure high performance and smooth logistics.
  • Own and continuously improve recruiting coordination workflows, including scheduling and onboarding handoffs.
  • Administer and optimize the Greenhouse ATS to ensure data integrity and system health.
  • Design and iterate interview training programs and scorecard frameworks in partnership with HR.
  • Standardize recruiting communications and candidate-facing messaging templates.
  • Develop and track operational metrics to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting operations, HR operations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of people management experience developing coordinators or ops specialists.
  • Deep familiarity with Greenhouse ATS administration and configuration.
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to design and execute end-to-end solutions.
  • Experience designing structured hiring programs, scorecards, or interview frameworks.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Hawthorne, California.

Nice to have

  • Admin-level experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar enterprise tools.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruiting/HR data workflows.
  • Experience in high-growth startup or tech environments.
  • Analytical mindset for using data to drive decisions and present insights.
