People Operations Regional Manager (HR Operations): Supporting frontline employees and overseeing HR processes for transit services across Texas with an accent on policy implementation, compliance, and real-time issue resolution. Location: 5-day a week in-person role, primarily based in Fort Worth, TX with regular travel to other sites. Candidates must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, off-boarding, and documentation.
  • Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, ensuring timely processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted employee advocate, handling day-to-day inquiries, investigations, and sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives to improve the overall workplace culture.
  • Support payroll processes and administer employee benefits, including open enrollment and education.
  • Partner with recruiting on interviews, offer processes, pre-hire screenings, and representing the company at job fairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR operations, employee relations, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience working with unionized employee populations and understanding of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with the ability to work in person 5 days per week.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
