What you will do

  • Manage key parts of the monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition by applying knowledge of revenue accounting and ASC 606.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Billing, and Operations teams to resolve data or process issues.
  • Develop and shape scalable revenue accounting processes to support company growth.
  • Utilize technological innovation and automation to improve accounting excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, specifically with revenue accounting under ASC 606.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
  • Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of experience at a high-growth startup.
  • CPA designation or currently pursuing one.
  • Experience with revenue automation or systems implementations.
  • Public accounting experience.
  • Passion for using emerging tools and technologies, such as AI, to drive operational efficiencies.
