What you will do
- Own the monthly close process using AI-native ERP tools, including reconciliations and flux analysis.
- Manage ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription contracts and oversee accounts receivable/payable.
- Lead the automation roadmap by designing workflows and documenting controls within the finance stack.
- Maintain the equity ledger in Carta and handle stock-based compensation accounting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage audit readiness.
- Partner with the Director of FP&A on forecasting, variance analysis, and SaaS metrics.
Requirements
- Active CPA certification required.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of top 8 public accounting and in-house industry roles.
- Strong technical foundation in ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription-based businesses.
- Hands-on experience executing a full-cycle close in a modern ERP environment.
- Demonstrable point of view on AI in accounting and concrete ideas for workflow automation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rillet, Ramp, Bill.com, BambooHR, or Carta.
- Direct SaaS or recurring-revenue industry exposure.
