What you will do

• Own the monthly close process using AI-native ERP tools, including reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Manage ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription contracts and oversee accounts receivable/payable.
• Lead the automation roadmap by designing workflows and documenting controls within the finance stack.
• Maintain the equity ledger in Carta and handle stock-based compensation accounting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage audit readiness.
• Partner with the Director of FP&A on forecasting, variance analysis, and SaaS metrics.

Requirements

• Active CPA certification required.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of top 8 public accounting and in-house industry roles.
• Strong technical foundation in ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription-based businesses.
• Hands-on experience executing a full-cycle close in a modern ERP environment.
• Demonstrable point of view on AI in accounting and concrete ideas for workflow automation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rillet, Ramp, Bill.com, BambooHR, or Carta.
• Direct SaaS or recurring-revenue industry exposure.
