Location: Hybrid in Warren, NJ (required to be in office 3 days a week)

Salary: $75,000 – $110,000

What you will do

• Perform accounting and reporting of investments based on U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory standards.
• Coordinate and participate in the monthly and quarterly investment close processes.
• Prepare U.S. statutory investment schedules and U.S. GAAP investment disclosures.
• Support financial reporting for foreign branches and subsidiaries.
• Develop exhibits and schedules to demonstrate the maintenance of internal controls.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations and ad-hoc strategic analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3+ years of investment accounting experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from Warren, NJ.
• Solid understanding of investment accounting and reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• High proficiency with Excel.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. insurance statutory accounting and reporting.
• Knowledge of PAM, Bloomberg, or Oracle.
• Professional experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Background in public accounting or public company reporting environments.
