What you will do

• Provide overall leadership for plant operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing performance.
• Develop and maintain a site culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
• Drive a world-class safety culture ensuring strict compliance with EHS, PSM, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, staffing plans, and operational resources.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing or chemical plant operations.
• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a process manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and PSM regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership presence with a proven ability to build teams and improve organizational culture.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in St. Louis, US.

Nice to have

• Experience leading operations in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing facility.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or other operational excellence certifications.
• Experience managing capital projects, turnarounds, and major operational improvement programs.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
