Junior Accountant (AdTech)

Junior Accountant (Finance): Supporting finance operations for Italy and Spain, managing daily accounting activities and month-end processes with an accent on P2P workflows, VAT support, and vendor management. Focus on ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, executing payments, and maintaining procurement compliance.

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain (requires 3 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Manage expense accounts including validation, system entries, and payment posting.
• Perform regular cash and credit card transaction entries and bank reconciliations.
• Execute the Procure to Pay (P2P) process for Italy and Spain, managing vendor invoices via Yooz and NetSuite.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end completeness and run the fixed assets module.
• Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding regarding finance systems and calculate monthly lunch vouchers.
• Support the preparation of VAT declarations for the Italian market.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Italian or Spanish GAAP.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and Excel.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to utilize AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
