Data Platform Product Intern (AI): Developing internal GenAI capabilities and self-serve data products with an accent on GenAI prototyping and technical roadmap contribution. Location: Remote. Preference for candidates based in the Americas (North, Central, or South) to enable real-time collaboration.

Salary: $60,000 (annual gross base, prorated over 12 weeks)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of internal-facing GenAI capabilities, from problem framing through to user testing.
• Conduct competitive scans of the Databricks ecosystem and adjacent tooling.
• Synthesize user research from internal data platform stakeholders to identify friction points.
• Contribute to technical artifacts, including the definition of schemas, APIs, and contracts.
• Collaborate as an embedded team member in biweekly demos, engineering standups, and executive reviews.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a technical Business degree.
• Strong SQL skills for reading complex queries, understanding data models, and exploring datasets.
• Proven ability to build prototypes using LLM APIs or tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, or v0.
• Evidence of shipping projects via GitHub, a portfolio, or active side projects.
• Preference for candidates based in the Americas.
