TL;DR
Junior AI Strategist (AI): Supporting early-stage market scanning, partnership outreach, and coordination of AI initiatives with an accent on AI's impact on social systems and institutions. Location: Remote within the United States or from office locations in Arlington, Chapel Hill, Chicago, Sacramento, or Austin. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship available.
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, collaborators, and sector experts aligned with AI priorities.
- Draft and edit external-facing materials including blog posts, concept notes, and briefings.
- Monitor AI policy and technology trends to translate findings into actionable internal summaries.
- Conduct landscape scans of the AI ecosystem to identify potential growth areas and partners.
- Coordinate logistics and preparation for team meetings, workshops, and external convenings.
- Support business development by preparing proposal materials, market insights, and background research.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in social sciences, public policy, education, or technology.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to synthesize information, draft content, and analyze data.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible insights.
- Demonstrated interest in the implications of AI for social systems, human development, or public policy.
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
