What you will do

• Manage the Global Banks portfolio, including intragroup subsidiaries.
• Provide recommendations on complex new transactions and lending/trading limit requests.
• Design sector strategies, policies, and operational processes.
• Lead client due diligence meetings and act as a role model across FI Credit.
• Mentor and upskill junior team members, reviewing their submissions for senior sanctioners.
• Collaborate on diverse FI portfolios, including Insurance, Securitisations, and Funds.

Requirements

• Significant experience in credit risk assessment of Global Banks.
• Sound knowledge of sector trends, horizon risks, and financial regulation.
• Excellent knowledge of lending and traded products and associated documentation.
• Previous experience holding senior Credit Authority.
• Proven track record in independent decision-making and succinct communication.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from London, Birmingham, or Edinburgh

• Formal Credit training.
