TL;DR

Team Leader (Fintech): Leading the Customer Due Diligence team to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing compliance for SME clients with an accent on complex fiduciary and trust structures. Focus on managing team performance, providing technical oversight for KYB/KYC processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain high-quality lending operations.

Location: Must be based in London or able to work from the London office in a hybrid capacity

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end KYB/KYC process for SME customers, with a focus on complex fiduciary and trust structures.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to the team on complex due diligence cases.
  • Oversee team productivity, quality assurance, and performance management to meet SLA expectations.
  • Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and Underwriting teams to manage the lending pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate, auditable records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in people management and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of KYC/KYB within fiduciary sectors, specifically trusts and complex legal structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally within a commercial mortgage or lending environment.
  • Solid understanding of conduct and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) requirements.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
