What you will do
- Identify, research, and evaluate attractive software companies based on internal investment criteria.
- Execute outbound prospecting through email, phone, and industry conferences.
- Establish trust and long-term relationships with software business owners in core verticals.
- Collaborate with the corporate development team to innovate sourcing strategies.
- Maintain precise activity records and report on KPIs using Salesforce and Outreach.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in M&A deal sourcing or origination within a private equity firm or VMS acquirer.
- Proven track record in business development or software sales.
- Exceptional writing skills and ability to lead professional, harmonious conversations.
- Analytical mindset capable of thriving in a metrics-driven environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to exceed critical KPIs.
Nice to have
- Degree in Finance.
- Deep familiarity with the SaaS business model.
