TL;DR

Legal Counsel (SaaS): Managing a broad range of legal and compliance operations with an accent on commercial contracting and supplier negotiations. Focus on scaling the legal function within a high-growth technology environment, providing practical advice to stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Wallingford, Oxfordshire (1 day per week onsite)

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and supplier contracts as the lead negotiator.
• Collaborate with Procurement and IT to review supplier agreements and conduct risk assessments.
• Assist the General Counsel in ensuring operational compliance across all markets.
• Develop and implement internal compliance programs and training initiatives.
• Support the management of disputes, litigation, and other legal proceedings.

Требования

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (LPC or SQE) with 3–5 years PQE.
• Mandatory experience in commercial contract management and negotiation.
• Proven experience as an in-house legal practitioner, ideally within a technology or SaaS business.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
