TL;DR

What you will do

  • Own and evolve the full people strategy across the employee lifecycle to ensure scalability and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead full-cycle talent acquisition for technical, GTM, and operational roles, including employer brand development.
  • Design and implement onboarding programs and performance management frameworks, including goal-setting and career pathways.
  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs using regular benchmarking.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Partner with executives on workforce planning, organizational design, and headcount strategy.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or Director-level role.
  • Proven experience building and scaling HR infrastructure within high-growth SaaS or startup environments.
  • Broad generalist expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and HR compliance, specifically in New York.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling a company from ~20 to 200+ employees.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, ATS tools, and people analytics.
