What you will do

• Build and productionize data pipelines for structured and multi-modal data optimized for LLMs.
• Design and deploy LLM-based solutions using RAG, embeddings, and instruction tuning.
• Experiment with agentic AI technologies (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP) to develop next-gen payment integrity MVPs.
• Create custom tools for AI agents to query internal databases and external APIs.
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks (LLM-as-a-judge) to ensure unbiased and explainable decisions.
• Lead client workshops to present prototypes and define roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Data Science experience in Healthcare Insurance Payment Integrity.
• Expert proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) for scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Experience implementing data pipelines for OCR and multi-modal data workflows.
• Proficiency with agentic frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI Agent SDK) integrated with Databricks or Azure.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in the Databricks Ecosystem (Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake).
• Knowledge of Spark data architecture.
• Experience using MLflow for experiment tracking and model evaluation.
