What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior and staff-level data scientists.
• Define technical direction and execution plans for AI initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure successful delivery of production-ready AI models, workflows, and services.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to prioritize and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Prototype and evaluate novel AI techniques, including agentic workflows and large language models.
• Establish engineering best practices for experimentation, model evaluation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in machine learning, NLP, or AI, including production deployment.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams of senior and staff-level data scientists.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures, prompt engineering, RAG, and model evaluation.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks like PyTorch.
• Experience developing AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries.
• Experience with agentic AI systems and autonomous workflows.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Databricks, or Flyte.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
