What you will do

• Identify business and product opportunities and develop the insights, models, and systems needed to drive measurable impact.
• Build advanced machine learning, optimization, and analytics solutions to improve marketplace efficiency at scale.
• Design and execute experiments and observational studies that generate actionable business and product insights.
• Partner cross-functionally to define key metrics, improve logging, and build diagnostic tools for smarter decision-making.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses and investigate performance trends and operational issues with minimal guidance.
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations and narratives to influence strategic organization direction.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S. in a quantitative field with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Data Science or Analytics.
• Strong foundation in experimental design and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with business intelligence tools.
• Competency in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis and modeling.
• Ability to distill complex data into compelling narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• US work authorization is required (E-Verify company).
