What you will do

• Perform incoming and periodic inspections on medical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to verify conformance with manufacturer specifications.
• Install, calibrate, and test medical devices according to established protocols.
• Manage equipment inventory and assets using VA electronic systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions to identify root causes.
• Provide training to staff on proper equipment use and safety practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of hospital or healthcare experience in medical equipment maintenance.
• Associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
• Understanding of regulatory agency requirements and ISO standards.
• Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
