What you will do

• Drive sales growth and achieve profit goals within the assigned region.
• Identify and qualify new leads and key decision-makers through daily prospecting.
• Manage full-cycle customer relationships, from initial contact to closing and implementing contracts.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to present tailored biology solutions to clients.
• Represent the company at trade shows and professional conferences.
• Facilitate customer travel to China and provide market feedback to internal functional leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, preferably in biology or chemistry.
• 3+ years of industrial experience, with at least one year in business development preferred.
• Must be based in the NE United States.
• Valid driver’s license and passport for frequent travel (up to 25% overnight travel for remote staff).
• Broad understanding of discovery biology, candidate selection, and preclinical development.
• Strong negotiation, listening, and persuasiveness skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working in a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
