What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for Services spend, including supplier identification and strategic alliances.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate commercial terms, and manage contract awards.
• Drive cost savings and value creation initiatives at both site and corporate levels.
• Establish supplier performance metrics and conduct periodic business reviews.
• Implement data-driven sourcing strategies using spend analytics and market intelligence tools.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, EH&S, and Legal to align procurement strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site 2 days per week in Middletown, DE.
• 5+ years of direct and/or indirect procurement experience.
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in Business or Supply Chain.
• Professional certification such as APICS, CPM, or CPSM.
• Experience in chemicals, life sciences, or biotechnology industries.
• Experience with e-procurement platforms like Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer.
• Knowledge of ESG and sustainable sourcing principles.
