What you will do

• Execute Business Development plans to identify, penetrate, and grow business accounts.
• Identify and qualify potential leads across pharma, biotech, VC, non-profits, and research institutes.
• Present business opportunities to the technical team and senior leadership.
• Support proposal writing and drive strong closing negotiations with customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers to ensure stable partnerships and growth.
• Represent Research Chemistry Services at industry meetings and conferences.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
• 7+ years of industrial experience.
• 3+ years of business development experience.
• Broad understanding of discovery leading to candidate selection through preclinical development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill sets for effective dialogue.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
• Knowledge of early phase CMC.
