What you will do

• Lead the Lifecycle Management (LCM) scrum team, managing 7-8 engineers across multiple time zones.
• Own sprint planning, execution, and delivery with a focus on predictable, high-quality releases.
• Act as the primary engineering point of contact for customer escalations and technical decisions.
• Drive technical quality and AI adoption using tools like Claude Code, Windsurf, and Copilot.
• Hire, onboard, and mentor engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and urgency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years of engineering management in SaaS.
• Strong expertise in Scrum leadership and managing distributed teams.
• Experience with the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, managed packages).
• Full-stack fluency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, and SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo, CA).
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with quote-to-cash, CPQ, or subscription lifecycle management software.
• Experience managing Salesforce ISV/managed packages (2GP).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and API orchestration.
• Track record of scaling engineering teams from 10 to 15+ members.
