Location: Remote (Offices available in Poland, USA, Romania, Ukraine, and Philippines)

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 Automation Quality Engineers (AQEs), providing technical direction and running hands-on pilots.
- Define the quality architecture, frameworks, and the roadmap for transitioning from traditional automation to agentic solutions.
- Maintain and evolve existing test automation frameworks based on Java, JavaScript, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Partner with engineering leaders to co-design deterministic agent workflows and LLM-assisted approaches with human-in-the-loop governance.
- Develop observability and reporting tooling, including coverage dashboards, flakiness detection, and CI quality gates.
- Implement behavioral validation and non-deterministic regression testing for AI-powered product features.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, AQE, or SDET.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience leading AQE or engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in automation architecture and driving quality initiatives across engineering teams.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted testing tools and familiarity with LLM concepts, agent orchestration, and model output evaluation.
- English: B2+ proficiency required.
