What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers delivering features across the Encore (.NET/C#/SQL Server) and AWE (TypeScript/React/Node.js/AWS) platforms.
• Translate client business requirements into detailed development plans, communicating scope, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Interface directly with clients to gather requirements, present technical approaches, and manage delivery expectations.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management to support pre-sales technical scoping, effort estimation, and solution architecture.
• Champion AI-enabled development by ensuring adoption of AI coding tools and developing custom AI agents for workflow automation.
• Ensure strict compliance with SOC 2 Type II security programs and other data handling requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (implied by 401k, HSA/FSA and US-specific benefits).
• 3+ years of experience in a management or technical lead role.
• 3+ years of direct client-facing experience in professional services, consulting, or solutions engineering.
• Familiarity with both the .NET/C# ecosystem and the TypeScript/React/Node.js ecosystem.
• Four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock).
• Expertise in RESTful API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
