What you will do

• Curate and maintain the template registry, creating first-party templates for Python, Node, Go, Rust, and Java across Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Act as a technical presence in Discord and GitHub to unblock users and translate community friction into actionable product feedback.
• Deliver technical talks and workshops at major industry events such as KubeCon and Open Source Summit.
• Audit and author deep-dive technical guides and onboarding documentation to improve the getting-started experience.
• Develop and lead community programs, including education partnerships, bounty programs, and platform engineering roundtables.
• Build and maintain reference deployments and tutorials for real-world workflows, including AI coding agents.

Requirements

• Background in software or platform engineering with experience managing servers and troubleshooting technical systems.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to simplify complex processes for platform engineers.
• Experience participating in, moderating, or maintaining active technical open-source communities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Comfort using LLMs, automation, and scripting to scale impact.

Nice to have

• Proven track record of speaking at conferences or building an audience around technical content.
• Familiarity with hirify.global or similar tools like Gitpod, DevPod, or GitHub Codespaces.
• Experience with enterprise platform concepts such as SSO, SAML, Vault, and Artifactory.
• Prior contributions to a developer-facing open-source project with an active community.
