What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of three engineering directors, ensuring high leadership quality and team performance.
• Own the execution system, including planning, release coordination, and cross-team delivery across multiple products.
• Operationalize AI-native engineering practices, including spec-driven development and AI-assisted implementation.
• Manage systems protecting velocity, such as CI/CD, testing strategies, reliability, and incident response.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, and organizational design in partnership with the CTO.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience leading engineering organizations scaled between 40–100 engineers.
• Proven track record as a manager of managers.
• Strong fluency in infrastructure, platform engineering, and developer tooling.
• Deep conviction and hands-on exposure to AI-assisted development practices.
• Ability to operate pragmatically in evolving structures with incomplete information.
